Aww I love you so much! When she almost started to cry it broke my heart💓
Hi Shallon! Omg your comment about men who have only female friends was so spot on! I just broke up with a guy who had a few (maybe 2 or 3) good female friends. He was (and still is) a bit of a nerd, and he hadn’t had much success while dating. I know for a fact that he was telling about our sex life to one of his female friend – which I found a weird. He also told me how another of his female friends borrowed him 1500 euros. I guess, subconsciously he wanted attention, reassurance, and acceptance from the opposite sex, because he was always like “I know I’m not the most handsome guy in the world” (true). I do think that your theory is correct, or that there’s at least some truth to it. Thanks for your advice!
Her laugh makes me happy
in some countries it’s actually common for you to treat your friends on your birthday and not the other way around…like take them out for food or drinks
I am so happy you adviced this girl to move out, even when her mom is handicapped, but still keeping in CLOSE touch with her, and taking care of her. On the long run, we do need to make our own lives, and you knwo what? there’s a reason why they ask you to put your oxygen mask before helping someone else, this will be the best for both her and her mom. As a daughter in a family with both diabetes and Alzheimers, and saw her mom just getting sick of taking care of everyone, keeping the balance between having a life of your own and taking care of your parents, is the holy grail.
